Outline

Advanced Manufacturing Team

The main tasks of our team are supporting research through the manufacturing of research instruments according to requests from researchers. These tasks range from designing and manufacturing both the simple parts and sophisticated systems of instruments to repairing and modifying existing machines. In addition, our team provides technical consulting and training for the researchers, and runs and manages one of the shared facilities, the machine shop.

Support subjects include manufacturing research instruments required by researchers, technical consulting regarding concept designs, detailed design of new instrumentation, manufacturing of mechanical parts, types of glass and electrical devices, modification and improvement of working equipment, remodeling and repair of existing machines and devices, running maintaining the machine shop and technical training of researchers.
