Outline

Green Nanocatalysis Research Team

Development of a safe, green, simple, easy and prompt chemical process producing a desired compound with high efficiency and selectivity is an important goal in next-generation synthetic organic chemistry. To accomplish this goal our team explores novel catalytic systems operating synergistically. Our team thus targets eagerly awaited yet immature (1) catalytic molecular transformations in water under heterogeneous conditions; (2) versatile and environmentally benign catalytic reactions; and (3) instantaneous catalytic molecular transforming systems, through, in addition to minute structural design of molecular catalysts, synergistic reaction driving/controlling with cooperation of the catalysts with reaction media and/or reaction equipment.
