Outline

Our laboratory was established to promote the science of nanometer scale materials at RIKEN. Our missions are to support Nano-Science research and promote multi-disciplinary collaboration between research groups at RIKEN. The facility consists of a clean room, chemical rooms for nanometer scale fabrication as well as for the characterization system, and rooms for advanced probes for nano-matter where special protection is given against external noise like vibration and electrical disturbance. Our laboratory includes the Development and Support Team, which supports scientists and is responsible for the maintenance of the facility.
