Personnel

ASI has about 700 fulltime scientists conducting research. This is roughly 24% of the total number of fulltime RIKEN staff and makes ASI the largest organization within RIKEN in terms of manpower. The number increases to about 2,000 when visiting scientists, assistants and students are included.
